The DSWA are offering two candidates the chance to become a dry stone walling apprentice. Kindly funded by The Ernest Cook Trust, these 12 month long apprenticeships will see the successful candidates placed with a DSWA Master Craftsman. The candidates will learn the skills required to pursue a career in dry stone walling through a mixture of on the job training and participation in our four-day qualification courses.

Candidates will be fully funded for their Level 1 and Level 2 assessments as well as benefitting from funding towards the cost of PPE and necessary tools. The successful candidates will also receive support and advice from the DSWA for the duration of their apprenticeship and beyond.

If you would like to apply for the apprenticeship the you can download an application form here.

The deadline for submissions is 5pm, 28th June 2024.
