The Stafford Show never disappoints, and this year was no exception for the Derbyshire Branch. I was fortunate to be supported by an enthusiastic team of volunteers whose knowledge, dedication, and hard work made my role incredibly easy.
Jason Wilton joined us to offer advice and support to the team. We try not to encourage him to wall too much, as he only seems to have one speed – fast! After all, we need the demonstrations to last the full two days.

The arrival of the bacon butties signalled the start of another busy day under glorious sunshine, with the scent of suncream lingering in the air. Steve Brookes, as always, was the first to start and the last to finish.

He was accompanied by Ruby, who kindly helped care for the youngest member of our team, Summer, a 19-week-old fox-red Labrador, pictured looking thoroughly worn out after all the excitement.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the weekend such a success. It was a fantastic team effort.
