We are delighted to report that His Majesty, The King has reaffirmed his patronage of The Dry Stone Walling Association, following a review of Royal patronages conducted after His Majesty’s accession to the throne.
His Majesty became patron of the Dry Stone Walling Association in 2006 and since then, he has helped raise awareness and visibility of our heritage craft, that is so intrinsic to the iconic British landscape.
Paul Clayton, Chair of The Dry Stone Walling Association says:
“It is a great honour that His Majesty, The King has agreed to continue with his Patronage of The Dry Stone Walling Association.
We are very grateful for his support, and the message it sends about the importance of conserving and restoring our precious dry stone walls.”
