Have you considered trying your hand at walling photography? Now could be the time to start as we’re excited to announce that the 2026 DSWA Calendar competition is now open!
While all photos will be considered, we are particularly looking for images that capture wildlife, flora, and fauna in and around our dry stone walls. You don’t need the latest gear to take a great photo – what matters most is having a keen eye!
Note submissions should ideally be in landscape orientation. Winning entries will be featured in this year’s 2026 DSWA Calendar.
All proceeds from the sale of the calendars goes towards supporting the DSWA’s work, promoting a greater understanding and knowledge about the traditional craft of dry stone walling and to encourage the repair and maintenance of dry stone walls throughout the country.
