2026 Derbyshire Branch Calendar
The Derbyshire Branch have a diverse membership of varying ages and backgrounds, with a wide range in abilities and interests, from those want to support our charity and attend events, to folk doing beginner courses, advancing in the craft and through to professional full time wallers.
Members not only come from the Derbyshire area, but many neighbouring counties, and from across the UK.
Our friendly members and branch officers are here to educate, promote, guide, instruct and advise on all aspects of dry stone walling, as well as socialising at various gatherings throughout the year such as several country shows, the summer fete, the Christmas party, special talks and presentations, and monthly online meeting and face to face in a cosy country pub. These are fantastic opportunities to network and natter with like minded people, and have a light hearted catch up.
You’ll also be kept right up to date with news and events by email and across our social media on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
We are a very active group, offering free monthly practice weekends for members of all abilities, informal and relaxed sessions guided by an instructor.
Additionally there are special projects where we undertake interesting restorations, open to all members, with our expert professionals taking the lead.
We welcome all members, new and existing, to all of our events across the year, and we are always keen to meet new people, and to hear new ideas from those who may be able to help our cause.
We are passionate about the preservation of dry stone walls, and the craft, and would love your support here in Derbyshire, so get in touch and come and meet the team!
